About me

Hi, I’m Santiago.

I have been teaching Spanish for more than eight years to international students, travelers and people who chose Argentina as their home. I studied Literature and Linguistics, and specialized in Spanish as a Foreign Language at the University of Buenos Aires.

I am an official DELE B1/B2 examiner for Instituto Cervantes and a CEA examiner for the University of Buenos Aires.

I believe learning a language is also a way of getting closer to its culture. That is why my Spanish classes include literature, film, history, football and current events from Argentina and Latin America.

I work with people who want more than grammar: people who want to understand how we speak, how we live and how our culture works in depth.

We work with structures through concrete examples and real use, not only conjugation tables.
Culture and nuance
Culture gives context to tone, intention, register and humor. That is the key to sounding natural, not translated.
